Our Team
Marc
Marc relocated to Oregon from Colorado after earning his BS in Accountancy from Colorado Mesa University. Initially, he built his career in the service industry, starting from dishwasher and ascending to the position of Food & Beverage Director. Marc also ventured into entrepreneurship, owning and operating his own restaurant and nightclub.
Since transitioning to accounting in 2015, Marc has held significant roles at various firms. At inDinero, an online accounting platform, he developed Accounting Policies and Procedures for new clients. Later, at Radix Accounting, he served as the Accounting Manager, overseeing Client Accounting Services. Subsequently, he held the roles of Controller and CFO at Ecliptic Brewing.
Outside of work, Marc enjoys spending quality time with his son, socializing with friends on the patio, and traveling.
Ingrid
Ingrid is a Portland native, she graduated from PCC with an associates in accounting and is currently finishing her undergraduate at PSU.
After spending 10+ years working as a bartender, in 2021 she found a passion for accounting and was hired at Ecliptic Brewing as their in-house bookkeeper. When Marc Rice decided to start his own accounting firm, she was happy to follow and was recently promoted to Staff Accountant!
When Ingrid isn't studying or working, you can find her paddling on the river or hiking through the woods with her 2 year old border collie, Stevie.
Joe
Joe is an outdoor enthusiast, cyclist, and accounting student living in Portland, Oregon. After moving from Washington D.C. to Portland in 2017, he and his wife immediately embraced everything Portland has to offer and planted roots in the city.
In 2022, Joe made a significant career change by deciding to pursue an accounting degree, which he expects to complete in spring of 2025. Prior to that, Joe worked as a brewer at Ecliptic Brewing, where he met Marc and Ingrid, setting his current relationship with them as the bookkeeper on the Brytos team.
Outside of work and studies, Joe enjoys spending time in nature with his wife and young daughter and is always searching for a new experience and adventure.
Max
The most senior member of our team. Max is our de facto HR Manager and Head of Security. He ensures everyone does their job and no squirrels infiltrate the workspace. When not at work Max enjoys naps, sleeping and more naps.
Tikaani
Tikaani is the youngest and most vocal member of our team. He loves to get his two cents in during Googlemeets and Zoom calls. When Tikaani isn't disrupting meetings he enjoys running around the yard and taking long walks in the forest.
Stevie
Stevie (named after the gypsy queen, Stevie Nicks) is our four-legged master of morale. Her enthusiasm and lust for life keep our spirits high while working on complex accounting procedures. Her mood-boosting services, however, come with a treat tax!
Stella
Stella is a Jackabee, or Jack Russell/Beagle mix, and has been a part of Joe and his wife's life for nearly 15 years! These days she mostly channels her inner beagle lazing around the house or outside, especially on sunny days. While she doesn't find accounting particularly interesting, she helps Joe with bank reconciliations anyway because she knows treats always follow.
